Buffalo Grass New Video on Sapphire Turf

Hear what Nigel Ruck said about Sapphire Turf on the Garden Gurus TV show in 2008.

Nigel Ruck said '...This new Sapphire Buffalo Turf is so much finer then other buffalo grasses, that most people ask what's that lawn... Fine Sapphire not only looks beautiful, but it grows well in sun and shade, easily as good as any of the other Buffalos and one of the best things about it is it's ability to handle wear.'

New Sapphire Soft Leaf Buffalo (Stenotaphrum secundatum 'B12' PBR) was bred from the older Sir Walter Buffalo Turf variety. Nigel Ruck has recently signed on to advertise Sir Walter on TV. Now considering Sapphire is usually priced better than Sir Walter, why not go for the finer better priced alternative, Sapphire. You just heard on this Video what the Garden Guru 's Nigel Ruck said about Sapphire, so Sapphire must be good. Times are tough, can you afford to waste money when Sapphire is as good as any other Buffalo, and best of all its finer textured, and therefore better looking.

Part of the reason why Sapphire Buffalo is better value, is that less is spent on TV advertising of Sapphire.  Sure there are cheaper types of Buffalo than Sapphire, but those are usually older types, or types that are simply not as good as the sensibly priced Sapphire. However, if you still want to help pay for a higher TV advertising spend, then consider a highly advertised alternative instead. But, if you want a low maintenance Buffalo with great winter colour at a fair price buy Sapphire Finer Textured Soft Buffalo.

"For a real gem of a grass, buy Sapphire!"
